They were really grateful to the members of the garrison who attended the Star Party 2019.

2020 is going to be bigger and better as they are moving to the Beaudesert Showgrounds.

Lots of families attend, you can watch the stars and moon, and attend fun, informative talks. They have replica space shuttles for kids (of all ages) to check out and the rocket club lets off about 10 rockets over the afternoon/evening.

It's a low cost event for the community to attend: entry is $10 per adult (kids under 12 are free) and there is plenty to see.

This year they will have onsite camping at the new venue.

It's a very relaxed event so the garrison members don't have to be 'on' the whole time and will definitely get an opportunity to see the stars and rockets and listen to talks too!

This year will have a lot more people because they are hosting it at the showgrounds during the Scenic Rim Eat Local Week and it will be advertised in their program.
