Further Details:
This is a stepathon event to raise funds and awareness for kids with brain cancer. Back in 2013/14 young Jimmy Harrington set off on an epic walk around the country to raise money for Brainchild Foundation and we estimate that his year long journey took 22 million steps to complete. Instead of making his do it all again, we have asked our supporters to register online at www.jimmys22millionsteps.com.au and help us retrace his steps. We are doing this during May which is brain cancer awareness month. The stepathon on the last weekend of May is our final event for the month. We would be thrilled if a few of your members could attend, even if it is just for an hour. It would be great for the kids to start walking with you and Jimmy and get some photos etc. You do not have to stay for the whole event as I know you have another function that day. Steppers will arrive from 9am but the walking will start around 9.30.
