Newtown State School is a local State School that caters to around 420 children in the Toowoomba area.

They are holding a Fete on the 23rd of March 2019. It will be their major fundraiser for the year. They hope to raise funds to provide more shade structures and cooling systems within the school.

They would like the Redbacks to meet the students and visitors. In recognition of this, they would advertise the Garrison in their weekly newsletter, on the school Facebook page and on the day via loud speaker.
