Further Details:
Harrison is your typical 5 year old boy. He likes cars, Star Wars and playing with his big sister, Grace, and his friend's. But Harrison is running out of time. He has Duchenne Muscular dystrophy. Duchenne muscular dystrophy is a severe type of muscular dystrophy. The symptom of muscle weakness usually begin around the age of four in boys and worsens quickly. Duchenne muscular dystrophy is a rare progressive disease which eventually affects all voluntary muscles and involves the heart and breathing muscles in later stages.

There is no cure, and Harrison will probably not see his 20th birthday.

Right now, Harrison only has 12 months left in which some walking is an option. After that, he will be wheelchair bound.
Harrison has lived on The Gold Coast all his life, with his big sister and his Mum and Dad. His Mum went to school on The Gold Coast, and works for the Police Department in Nerang. His Dad works also works for Queensland police as an IT technician.
Harrison, and his family, are a Helensvale family, who need your help. Harrison's biggest dream is to go to Disneyland, and his family want to take him, while he can still walk.

They are planning a family fun day at Helensvale cultural centre, to raise money for this dream trip for Harrison and his family.
