Further Details:
Albany Fair is one of the largest school fete's in Brisbane's North and in it's 29th year. It is the major fundraiser for All Saints Primary School but also acts as a great community event with many attending outside of the school community. The event has several thousand people attend and is often attended by those that can't afford the Ekka.

The Redback Garrison attended previously with a great turnout, however not last year with the date conflicting with the Dreamworld gathering. Previously they have had a designated area with backdrops where kids and families could get photos for a gold coin donation. Immediately following the Fair last year, the children starting asking if the 501st would attend this year. In the past they have had as many as 15+ attend from the Redback Garrison and would welcome all that could participate.

Previously they made donations to the Starlight Foundation on behalf of the Redback Garrison and would look to make a similar donation again this year. For the school, the previous 2 Fairs went to help fund new music classrooms and this year they are raising funds to fit classrooms with a new speaker system device that is designed to enhance the learning experience.

They will supply parking, a secure air-conditioned classroom/base, water, Subway sandwiches for lunch and some cool beverages post troop in the Beer Garden.

They greatly appreciate and admire the work the 501st does and hope to have members join them for Albany Fair 2018!
