Alliance Command / Crix Madine Uniform

Costume Standards

Required Items (Generic Officer):
Black Boots
Tan slacks
Light blue long sleeved collared shirt (a US Air Force dress shirt is perfect)
Tan overtunic with pocketed sleeves
Brown belt with octagonal belt buckle


Required for Formal:
Rank badge and collar insignia
Black or dark brown gauntlets (Required for General Crix Madine)

Going by the guidelines http://www.rebellegion.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=35763 I think Jack boots are a bit short so the equestrian style will be needed instead.

There is a place in the UK that makes the rank badges but I was going to ask Aprilstorm how easy/costly it would be to make them via a 3D print.

Since the uniform is the same color I would make the pants and Jacket out of the same material.

I might have to use the costumes by Robin black boots if the Jack boot isn't viable. But I'm going to give it a go anyhow, on me, they come close enough to my knees I reckon.
But if you want to check with April about the badges, that would be awesome.

I want to see you slick down your fringe Hoppy, 70's style. The belt looks like the RFT belt - same colour brown/tan and buckle is rectangular with the corners off. We found a Sydney supplier for our RFT belts if you want them. And the guys doing the RFTs, perhaps you can order together...

Yep I'd be interested in getting one, preferably an octagon shaped one, but I'll have no problems if its square.

I've had a look. And we'll have to get the rectangular buckle and cut it into an octagonal shaped one. At least from that source. Unless someone knows elsewhere to buy them.

The costume standard, and all of the references show an octagonal buckle for this costume.

Still planning on this costume. Been trying to find some detail pics of the Badge and collar greebls, so I can recreate in sketchup, get 3D printed by my cousin, pinkysil a mould, and then resin cast my own.

Does this mean a fancy haircut is on the horizon?
