Temple of the Twin Suns Master

Hi guys,
Here's a formal Jedi outfit I'm working on. I've added some pics of: the current build & rough costume sketches.
Feel free to comment/add input.
The build materials: traditional Jedi/Earth tones.
Obi material.
Belt & pants.
Rough costume sketch - 2 versions.
Rough sketch full outfit - 2 versions.
And next, the boot options!
What do you think of these?
Classic & sleek.
Slightly more daring.
Brown variation.
Quinlan Vos inspired.
Imagine with Jedi outfit made of brown variations.
Classic riding boot.
Could the buckled (Vos style) pair work for the old or new republic??

Hey Alpha looks quite good, personally I would go with brown boots/belt combo myself but the black doesn't look out of place either. As for the boots I have a preference for the equestrian style. I'm not sure if the Quinlan Vos style ones will be approvable for a generic jedi, but the best way to find out is to put your thread up on the main Legion Jedi boards http://www.rebellegion.com/forum/viewfor...991b89c51b and get an opinion from one of the costume judges.

I have a pair of boots in the first shot that I use for my Rebel Fleet Trooper. Had to cut them down to calf height, as not many of these boots fit my calves without spending a lot of money.

Hey Satay, I like that pair quite a bit too.
Hey Stormraven, yeah, I think you're right about the Quinlan Vos style boots. They're pretty flashy for a generic Jedi. I'll run it by the council just in case. I signed up with the Rebel Legion on Saturday night - just waiting for the account to be made active by the administrator.
Hey Sniper, yep, the boots part is always pricy. I bought a pair recently for my Darth Maul build - it was steep. Hopefully I can use a more cost effective pair without having to alter them for this Jedi build.
Thanks for the feedback guys!

New Rock boots, such as the ones you said are 'QV styled', will not be approvable.. Its a long argument that has been back and forthed for years and its still listed as not suitable for jedi.

Yeah, I figured it was probably pushing the bounds. I'll just submit the other (more traditional) options to the Rebel Legion for approval.

Quick update, I've added my Jedi build to the international Rebel Legion site. Just waiting for approval before I order my boots.
