That's awesome, Beanie!

Thanks for posting the link.

I've been wanting one of these for ages, but the one I got a quote for, was out of my price range at the time.

I'm definately going to jump on and get one of these.

Yay! Cool

Thanks for the link, have sourced a hat elsewhere as couldn't find anything other than tute's on making from scratch. As I found someone who made it already I jumped for it.

Awaiting final price for my communicator. This is the one getting made for me. You've probably all seen this one on the boards.

ALso getting a badge made which I will modify to another I've seen with more detail.

The gun, she is beautiful and ready for detail and painting.

This is the poncho I will do the camo paint on. Didn't want to make a white one, bought a surplus store one from the U.K. It was filfthy, they must have used it for a tent or to cover a horse in world war one..kidding. Dont want to guess where this has been. It's a wonder Customs let it in the country.

Hi Allm

I've read the costume standards on RL for the belt pouch.

8. Olive green 2” wide twill belt with a black metal slide in front, one black twill pouch on the left front, 2-3 black twill pouches in the back and black leather or non-shiny vinyl holster.

How strict is this? I've seen leather ones on people who've made this costume.
Is the following acceptable?

From what I can see on peoples costumes. The pouch on the right could be acceptable, but not the one on left. Rule of thumb I've discovered with Star Wars pouches, they don't use zippers, everything is a flap cover. Wink

Zippers don't really exist in the SW universe. Point of interest, neither do glasses- I was speaking with comic artist Colin Wilson & he told me he wanted to draw a wookiee with glasses & was told by LFL they wouldn't allow it !! true story !
