Trooping in WA (2012, 2013, & 2014)

Hitting Collectorzone on September 1st, 2013 was our own Jediwoman...

We had JediWoman out as a jawa again at the Nexus Toy Fair on October 12, 2013. Unfortunately I didn't grab a photo of her that day.

We got her the next day, though at All Aboard Seafoods (October 13, 2013)...








She came in from the desert again on November 9, 2013 for a Kidsflix event...

Rebels hit the Victoria Park Christmas Street Mall

This troop was organized on behalf of the Rebel Legion and the 501st Legion.

Victoria Park Christmas Street Mall

Location:
Albany Highway between Mint and Dane Streets
4:00 P.M. – 6:30 P.M.

Landscape/Weather: Outdoors on a crowded street set up with numerous booths, tents, and entertainers. The weather was cloudy and slightly humid.

Date/Time:24th November, 2013. 4:00 P.M. - 6:30 P.M.

Report:

This troop was relatively simple. The Rebels and their associates walked the length of the Christmas Street Mall and then back to their change area. A break followed with drinks and the removal of masks/helmets. After the break another lap of the street mall was completed and the Rebels called it a day.

As expected, the laps took quite a while. The Rebels were stopped every few feet for photos and were known to stand in place for long periods of time before the crowds and photos would allow them to proceed.

Aside from a handful of frightened children, there was a lot of love for the Rebels. Jawas, a trooper, Leia, and even Vader all received hugs this day.

The event organizer found the troopers near the end of the event and expressed his gratitude and pleasure at the impression made by the troopers. He said that the troopers were a true "crowd stopper" and that he was happy that our presence made such an impact. He said that he was looking forward to dealing with the us in the future.

After the troop the folks loitered around and had bubble tea together after everyone had packed their gear into their respective vehicles.
