NSW new BASE application

I would like to bring you up to date with information regrading the application of a NEW BASE in Australia that will cover the state of NEW SOUTH WALES.

the members living in the state of NSW have applied for a new base and have been in discussions with Legion Council/staff. It has been voted the new proposed name will be Tython Base.

Currently two members, Adam.S and Fyr Mureys have both been nominated as CO and have both accepted and now in the process of questioning time.

I’m think this will be a good thing for NSW. How are they going for numbers?

around 15 members, enough for a base.

which will bring Tatooine down to 45 in QLD, TAS, WA, NT.

And the Rebel Legion grows and grows!

Just a thought but we have good numbers here in QLD, perhaps NSW could take some or all of the other states. It would be more of an even balance of the members.

There was discussion of this i think we encompass ACT as well

NSW will take ACT but because Tatooine Base covers all of Australia, whats left after new bases pop up is still left with Tatooine.

So its QLD, TAS, WA & NT.

Basically what you have just said is, this is how it is because this is how it is.

What Beanie said is correct, and it has all been discussed with the powers that be higher up. NSW is forming their own Base, they are taking the ACT as it makes geographical sense seeing as they encompass that territory. That isn't applicable to any other state or territory.

Hence Beanie wasn't saying "because I said so, that's why" he was saying, it has been discussed & that was what was decided on.

NSW/ACT will be forming their own Base & discussions are progressing with a name,logo & CO being sorted out now.
