Halloween Haunted House Mon 31st October

Hello Rebels.

This year I will once again be hosting a Haunted house on Halloween (31/10/16) on Imbros street, Nundah, and are looking for volunteers to be scarers on the night (does not have to be a star wars costume).

After the massive success from last years haunted house (2000 people), this year will be twice as big, so my maze must be even bigger.

Halloween will fall on a Monday night with the maze operating from 4 - 6pm (kids maze, no scarers in maze) and 6 - 9pm (adult maze). A new layout of the maze has been made which will make use of the backyard and create several new scaring areas (check photos for lists of plans).

Our system of hi-vis vests for kids and guides escorting groups will be scrapped, replaced with warnings for groups who enter with small kids past 6pm. If you wish to be a part of this maze, we ask that you arrive as early as possible (no later than 5pm) on Monday afternoon to prepare for the night, as last year there were already 100 people in line waiting for the adult maze to start.

Construction of the maze will take place over the weekend before (29/10-30/10) and we ask that everyone come over sometime during that weekend to confirm/assign scaring locations and do a quick safety brief. All are welcome to help build the maze or make props and costumes. There are still zones in the maze which have been left spare if anyone wants to design an area for themselves, if so please let me know and I will update the plans.

+1's or +2's are welcome but please confirm with myself before inviting. Dinner / drinks / showers will be provided after the maze has ended as well as plenty of sleeping space if anyone wants to spend the night (please let me know so I can make sure we have enough towels/pillows etc.).

We are just over 2 months away, so never too early to start on those costumes / props. We need all confirmations by the 15th of October. Once again Smoke machines /strobe lighting / jump scares and other special effects will be used, so if there are any medical conditions which could be affected by these please do not complete the maze.
