Greetings, fellow Rebels - Ian - 15-05-2014

Hi,

Ian here. I have just signed up and wanted to introduce myself.

I live in Tasmania and am currently building a R2D2 droid. ( www.facebook.com/IEJR2D2 ) My build log.

I would love to make myself a rebel fleet trooper costume to go along with my droid when its finished so I can accompany it to troops and look good together.

I have been communicating a little with Rebel Rach, she is awesome and been helping me out a bit already.

Hope to talk to you soon!

Ian

Hello there Ian,
Great to see a costume from the originals in the works! Just a heads up, your link wasn't working, well at least for me.

Welcome. Good to see someone from tassie.

Welcome Ian it sounds like Rach has got you started on the RFT Cool its a great costume and surprisingly well recognized by the public. Though when you have your R2 unit around you'll find not many people will be paying attention to you. Rolleyes Another great costume to consider trooping with the R2 unit of course is the X-Wing pilot.

We don't have any Tassie members yet so hopefully you can find some more friends down there soon. Till then the local 501st squad is pretty friendly.

One last thing is you'll notice most of us use a screen name so you may wish to consider changing you name to something else, but its up to you.
