so here it is... the thread about all props, do we want to make one? what do you want to make? which scene from the movie... ect ect.
i would like to see a BACTA TANK or a Card Stand.

A working (obviously not a real) landspeeder was going to be my next (over however many years) build now that R2 is where he is at. I have been researching it for a while now.
Full scale ships I think for us, are a bit out of the question, due to their size, and space we would need to have them on display.
The cockpit idea would basically be 2 dimensional, with the exception of the joystick. Whack a Rubies bucket on, and you're away!!!

any other question is printed backdrop or standing frame built prop?
im liking Moister vaporator since its Tatooine. nice easy starting prop.

In some cases a Printed backdrop will do, such as the Falcon cockpit or X-wing cockpit. However, a frame built one would be best for the Tantive and Hoth.

Something with handles would be good, and a pole in the bottom too so it stays and doesn't blow in the wind. anyone know what the Redbacks use? and/or where they got it?

I think we should start with something from Tatooine so that people will associate us with our brand (base) more easily. Going with a backdrop would be a good start and we can than add 3D props like R2, landspeeder, etc in front of it.
My suggestions would be:
1) a scene of the sandcrawler where the Jawas are selling C3PO and R2 to Luke and Owen.
2) the outside of theMos Eisley Cantina
3) the Hanger bay with the Millennium Falcon
As for the Banners we should also talk to Baytrooper and get some of those banners he made done for the Base.

Actually there is a good point. As a set backdrop, the Sandcrawler tracks can be free standing without a frame to support them at the back. as the tracks themselves would hold the set up.
