MagnetiCon 2018 - Townsville - Nighthawk - 11-06-2018 Date : Saturday June 2nd and Sunday June 3rd, 2018 Venue : Townsville RSL Stadium Time : 10.00am - 4.00pm Mission : Spreading light and hope to the galaxy at North Queensland's biggest cosplay event Rebel Legion Attendance : Nighthawk PChii 501st Attendance: A whole bunch of folks Funds raised: $414.05 via raffles ticket sales and donations toward 'Nolan's Journey To Walk' - https://www.facebook.com/nolanwillwalk/ Details : A fantastic weekend at this great event as we shared space with the 501st Redback Garrison. Lots of photos, lots of happy kids (big and small), the occasional light saber battle, and a chance to be on stage with Hercules himself, actor Kevin Sorbo. Efforts by PCHii and myself to lure new members to the light side are slowly bearing fruit, with a number of Redbacks talking about getting RL approved costumes, so hopefully we will have an even stronger showing next year.
