Bith Build - Stormyt - 17-03-2013

Hi All.

Busy getting a Bith costume together. So far I have the following

Woodmans Mask & Hands....

This a very tight mask. I have started to make slits in the hands and the back of the mask, but not sure how far up they should go....

Next are the boots....

Finally the chef's jacket (which is the link I found from looking at the old RL for the band build the guys did over east)

The pants I know what to get just need to go buy them. Let me know what you guys think.

Cheers,
Chris.

Hey Chris,

Woody's Mask and hands are awesome. I did not have to make any slits in mine. The hands are a bit tight, but I just use a bit of talc to get them on and off. Make sure you work out something for ventilation too, it can get quite hot in there.

Hi Payney.

Can you give some advice on air con for the mask, also I've cut further up in the mask and still not able to put it on Sad
I wear glasses so what would be the max i could go on cutting up the back with out showing the seem too much

I had to adjust the collar button as it wont fit around the masks neck. It does sit rather high on me. Here are my approval pics.

as for the fan, I might be using one of these, with a piping setup. It will either be built in the head sucking air from outside, or clipped to my waist, with a pipe blowing air into the head. Not sure yet.

But I have recently bought a Coolshirt setup with a hood, for my Chewie. And might try using it first. It wont solve the hot air problem, but will keep me cool.

Your head no larger than mine but struggling like hell to fit it...It may just have to keep increasing the slit till i can get it on and then work something out from there. Will post pics up later when i get the chance. Cooling system is interesting can u give me the link please Smile

For the coolshirt? I'll warn you, It ain't cheap. The setup in the pic was $600. These are what race car drivers wear under their suits to keep cool. The battery pack lasts 4 hours (30 min recharge), and you just need to change the ice block/cold water when necessary. Very COOL stuff Tongue
