On Friday at 7pm the Gold Coast Film festival will be Screening "Ësltree 1976", any members in costume who wish to engage with the crowds as they arrive are welcome to do so.

On Friday and Saturday, The Sons of Obi-wan will be performing a demonstration at 1pm near the X-Wing. Any Jedi who wish to interact with guests as they arrive can do so.


GREENROOM / DRESSING ROOMS:

There will be a 3x3m marquee located in Victoria Park equipped with chairs and water to allow for breaks. This is also a spot that can be used as storage for personal belongings. On Sunday only, this will be a shared zone with the QLD Ghostbusters Franchise. Please know you are welcome to take breaks at your own discretion, and do not need to seek permission from event staff to do so.

We are also setting up a ‘chill zone’ directly in front of the marquee that will feature picnic tables and chairs, umbrellas for shade and water. Please note any items left in the Kurrawa Park greenroom are at the owner’s discretion. On Sunday The Registration Manager will be in Kurrawa Park until 1.30pm and all belongings must be collected by this time.


PARKING:

Free parking for the first 2 hours at The Oasis Shopping Centre, entry via Charles Avenue only. 3-hour free street parking on selected streets throughout Broadbeach. If you require access into the road closure to drop off bulky items essential to your involvement in the parade, please liaise with Amy pre-parade to arrange movements.
