Park underneath the Hospital in the parking area. This is the only parking that vouchers will be provided for.

Further Details:

Visit the patients wards and the Starlight room (floor 6) at the Queensland Children's Hospital. We will have the Starlight captains take us around and we'll bring some much needed cheer and fun to the kids, families and staff.

PARKING: Free car park passes for underneath the hospital. Try and car pool still if you can. You will be given a free voucher before you leave the troop. .

MEET: Floor 6, Starlight Room (turn right at the big grand piano). We have change rooms on floor 7 but need to be escorted up there.

BRING your Blue Card

ARRIVE with plenty of time to kit up and be ready for 10am SHARP.

TROOPING: 10am to midday FRIDAY

HEALTH: You must be well to troop. Please do not show up if you have been ill in any way up to 48 hours before the troop. Post on the forum you are not coming due to illness and please take your name off the event sign up.

This is hospital with many levels of injuries of the children in the hospital. It can be challenging and upsetting if you are not prepared. We welcome all troopers with a valid blue card to sign up for a hospital troop this year.

If you are new to this troop we have seasoned troopers who will support you and the hospital staff and Starlight Captains are very experienced also. If at any time you feel uncomfortable in a room or situation you can of course withdraw and we will support your well being. We want everyone to enjoy the visits and they are one of the most rewarding troops you can do!
